Milestones
Baptisms – We celebrate the gift of life and make a faith commitment to support each other in being a community which nurtures faith and love. Baptism available for infants/children where parents act on a child’s behalf. Also, baptism for adults – no parental involvement necessary!
Confirmation – For those who have been baptized as infants, confirmation is an opportunity to confirm the promises of faith made at baptism. An exploration of faith series of conversations serves as preparation for confirmation.
Marriages – Couples (including same sex) who wish to make the commitment of marriage in a setting of worship are welcome to have their wedding at Riverside United Church. More info
Funerals – At the time of death, it is important to gather to remember a life and to find comfort and strength amidst the process of grief. There are a variety of ways of gathering – funeral, memorial service, graveside. We are open to offering support and community. More info
