During lent, we can take the opportunity to speak out against the abuse of individuals and groups who are doing no more that trying to exercise, peacefully, rights we take for granted.
For example: This week, AI is spotlighting three brave human rights defenders in honour of International Women’s Day. Messages defending them can be sent to Amir Khan Mutaqi, De-facto Minister of Foreign Affairs in Afghanistan. This case can be found on line at https://amnesty.ca
