Welcoming all, we embrace the rainbow as a symbol of God’s affirming love for all and include people of all ages, cultures, abilities, sexual orientations and gender identities in every aspect of the life of our faith community. Mission Statement
Worship is a time when we celebrate and explore our connection to God. The services include prayers, songs, reading from the Bible and usually a sermon which seeks to connect the wisdom of scripture to the realities of our lives.
Service Times
Most Sundays, we meet at 10:30.
Communion
We usually have Communion five times a year during the morning service. We also have Communion on Christmas Eve and some other special occasions.
Nursery
Care for young children is provided during the service. We usually have a youth or adult volunteer who looks after young children in a nursery room. There is also the option for a play area at the back of the worship area. The sounds of young children do not bother the worship leadership!
Children
Children and youth (ages 4+) will be invited to attend Children’s Worship. Parents are welcome to join and participate. We also have colouring pages at the front.
Youth
Youth (ages 12-18) are welcome to join Children’s Worship for a multi-age programing. Older kids are encouraged to help younger children with crafts, experiments, and activities honing their leadership skills and help with programming.
Sermons
Music
Our services are replete with music: hymns, anthems, worship songs, child-friendly music.
The choir rehearses on Sunday morning at 9:30 A.M., and welcomes all voice types, ability to sight read not required.
Together we explore and perform engaging music from a wide range of musical styles.
