Brookfield Community Food Cupboard will be closed July 1.  It could use the following reasonably priced items [recall, no dented cans, open packages, or after Best Before dates]:

  • food basics has KD 12 pack @ $9.99, Primo Pasta Sauces @ $1.99, Heinz Baked Beans @ $0.99, and Shreddies and Honeycomb @ $2.99
  • No Frillshas Primo Pasta Sauces @ 2.00, No Name Soups @ $0.99 and Green Giant Vegetables @ $1.25
  • Giant Tigerhas Primo Pastas @ $0.97 and Primo Pasta Sauces @ 2 for $3.50
  • Loblaws has Cherrios/Cinnamon Toast Crunch @ $2.00 and Catelli Garden Select Pasta Sauces 600ml @ $2.00
  • Walmarthas KD 12 pack @ $9.97
  • Farmer’s Pick has Terra di Grano Pasta @ $0.99

And, almost always best buys on needs are:

o   No Name canned corn 398ml @ $1.25 at No Frills

o   Great Value Quick Oats 1kg @ $2.77, and Great Value Smooth Peanut Butter 500gm @ $3.18 at Walmart

o   Pacific Pride Tuna 213gm, Sea Chef Sardines and Tasteful Green Beans @ $1.00, at Dollarama

o   Club Supreme peanut butter and jams 250gm, Club Supreme canned fruit 398ml and clic beans 540ml @ $1.50 are at Dollar Tree.

DELIVERIES to the Cupboard are best made between 3:00-8:00 Wednesdays, and in office hours at the Riverside United Church, Councillor Brockington’s office at the Hunt Club Riverside Park Community Centre, the Riverside Pub, the Broadway Bar & Grill and now Feras Barber Shop on Brookfield.
