At RUC we have a challenge that must be met. It is a challenge that your Council has accepted. It is a challenge in need of solutions. Our expenses each month this year have exceeded our income. We are not in immediate financial danger, but if we continue on the present path in the coming years, our doors may close. As you know, this has happened to many of our sister churches.
This Sunday we will come together after the church service to share your ideas for how we can begin to meet this challenge. We need your ideas and energy. There are tables set up at the back of the church for small group discussions. Each table will have a facilitator to capture and record your ideas. The discussions will last about 45 minutes, and we will wrap up by noon.
Be practical, be creative, be far outside the box – no ideas are too big or too small. Thanks for coming and helping to shape the future course of Riverside United.
